Andrea Gledhill

“I do it because I want to be a part of the New England Art Community. I love to see the incredible work that local people are doing – those aren’t trite words, it’s the truth.”

Committee Member Andrea has been a part of NEAS for almost 3 years, volunteering fortnightly in the Gallery as well as lending her skills as a Committee Member and curator.

Andrea studied Fine Arts at Queensland College of Art , has been an art teacher and from 2005 to 2008 was the curator at NERAM-New England Regional Art Museum . She spent 12 much loved years as the Head of Austin College.

As a painter Andrea says “I am painting my life. The world around me in my acre of paradise at Tillbuster. I’m always looking at light and shadows.”
