Dedicated to stimulating and supporting the creativity of the New England’s regional arts community, the Armidale Art Gallery hosts a wide range of exhibits, showcasing original paintings, drawings, photography, prints, textiles, sculpture, pottery and jewellery.
The Armidale Art Gallery provides a friendly, convenient and relaxed venue for a wide range of workshops, small group activities and events including artist talks and book launches.
The gallery is conveniently located right in the heart of Armidale’s shopping precinct and mall on Beardy Street.

Operated by New England Art Society Inc. (NEAS), and situated at 149 Beardy St, Central Mall, Armidale. NEAS is a not for profit community organisation dedicated to stimulating and supporting creativity in the New England regional arts community. The gallery caters to our artists with a permanent display space for Painting, Works on Paper, Sculpture, Ceramics, Textiles, Jewellery and more.
The New England Art Society runs the annual Armidale Art Prize, a Miniatures exhibition – It’s All a Matter of Scale and across December and January we present the Summer Show, a members only exhibition.
