Engaging with clay offers a multitude of pleasures, the acquisition of techniques, skills in mastering wheelwork, hand building, design, decoration, firing and glazing. This exhibition also shows the individual emotional, aesthetic and artistic talents expressed reflecting the satisfactions of hand crafting something tangible that fosters hands-on creativity and pleasure.
This exhibition features works from eleven talented ceramicists, all members of the Armidale Pottery Club. This display reflects the diversity and skills of each artist, the potential of turning this elemental part of our planet into art.
