Wasted is only a few months away and it’s time for all you artists across New England to start putting your ideas into practice – entries are now open!
Create artworks from materials that would normally be thrown away and enter the Wasted exhibition at the Armidale Art Gallery.
For textile oriented creators there will be a fashion component as well with a prize for best dressed up-cycled fashion or wearable art on the opening day.

Workshop: Play with Waste
Whether you are struggling for ideas or simply have too many (and need someone to listen) come join Berdine Warne and Andrea Gledhill at Little Birdy – 36 Hill St, Uralla. Berdine has kindly offered her fantastic workshop space and extensive collection of plastics and bottle caps for creators to come and use and play with to create art. Share ideas, share recycled materials, bring your own and see what people are up to. It should be a lot of fun and is open to all and free to attend.
