An Exhibition of works by Julia Hardman

I continue to use a variety of media in my interpretation of landscapes, townscapes and with any subject that grabs my imagination.
Watercolour coupled with mixed media is a favourite technique. It allows me to add layers and draw into the painting.
Subjects for this exhibition include domestic themes and images around her travels.
About Julia
Since her gift of painting gear as a teenager, Julia has always enjoyed art making. Her arts career included primary and secondary school teaching.
Tuition in watercolour technique was provided in her home studio for many years. She was employed as Education Officer at NERAM which allowed for all local school students to visit gallery exhibitions regularly.
Talks on artists current artwork and also art history were fundamental in cooperation with the Board of Studies curriculum.
Julia’s home studio is a venue for many open garden and gallery fundraising events.
