Discover the keys to painting realistic landscapes and trees in this 10 week course. A new class starting from the beginning where Tess will take you through the fundamentals of seeing, mixing colour, layering the painting and designing an overall focus. The skills you need to know to be able to incorporate realism into your works.
If you have dreamt of painting more realistic scenes – but weren’t sure where to start or how to get the results you want – then mastering trees is one of the keys to success and this is the course for you.
Throughout the course you will be guided step by step to grow your artistic skills and deepen your knowledge with the intention of you acquiring new ways to paint to achieve what you want on canvas.
Course Tutor:
Tess Cullen is a landscape painter with over 40 years experience in painting and teaching. She has a particular love of trees and nature and would like to share her skills with you.

Course Materials will be discussed during the first class of the course with a detailed list of materials provided upon booking your spot.
For the first class you will need:
Titanium White
Burnt Sienna
Burnt Umber
Brushes, a palette, water jar, painting rag and an apron. A small canvas will be provided.
This class is only a beginning, this 12 week course will be followed by Let’s Paint classes where your skills will increase as we explore more aspects of landscape painting and work towards completing a work of your own choosing.
