Sue-ellen Fisher

“Colour and line in the landscape are what do it for me artistically speaking.  Having recently retired I am enjoying exploring my creative side. Taking inspiration from the natural environment I endeavour to interpret the grandeur of the trees, the movement of the wind and the subtle colours of the Australian bush.

I started with watercolour and have recently started my acrylic paint journey. I paint in my studio (son’s long vacated room) and will not get any prizes for tidiness.  I find the artistic journey frustrating at times but the reward at the end is enough to spur me on to the ‘next masterpiece’.”
