Jan Clark swings a wide creative pendulum from textile art to abstract acrylics to scientific illustration.
She was awarded an honours degree in Natural History Illustration from the University of Newcastle which has influenced all aspects of her work.
The fusion of science and art has always been a goal. The natural world is Jan’s inspiration with a particular love for the beauty of insects.
Jan teaches the tips and tricks that help enter the world of 3D illusion.
She believes that making art, even with humble doodles, can enhance wellbeing and structures her classes so anyone can learn from them.
Jan lives in Rocky River surrounded by bush, birds and insects.
