Exhibition Dates: Saturday 19 September to Saturday 17 October
Opening: 2pm Saturday 19 September
Linda Lockyer presents a selection of acrylic paintings on canvas and framed works on paper.

The body of work which I am presenting in this exhibition is reflective of my current art practice.
Each artwork is painted in response to the landscape in which I live and conveys the spiritual connection which I have to these special places, through colourful and imaginative expression.
Artists Bio
Linda Lockyer is an artist who lives on her family’s rural property at Walcha. A largely self-taught artist, Linda has developed her own style of painting using acrylic paints and inks. Her paintings are colourful, textured and imaginative, reflecting both her love of and identity to the Australian lifestyle and landscape.
Having attended art classes at NERAM in Armidale and Tamworth Regional Gallery, Linda has enjoyed her involvement with Armidale Art Gallery where she has exhibited many times over the years. More recently Linda has also exhibited widely on the Mid North Coast of NSW, where she also spends much of her time.
There is always a spiritual connection between the subject matter in Linda’s paintings and her environment. Her artworks are often direct responses to lived experiences which she treasures, such as enjoying walks through the breathtaking scenery of her home countryside and translating these onto the canvas.
Linda has exhibited widely in regional NSW, in both group and solo exhibitions. Exhibiting her work has always been an added inspiration to create impactful artworks which can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
